BLUEFIELD, WV (WVNS) — Industrial Plating and Machine announced the company will now work with Bluefield State College in an educational partnership.

This partnership will produce a 10 week modern machine class for those looking to go into the industry. CEO and President of IPM, Shannon Remines, said together, they will help develop the local machinist trade.

“We want to open this opportunity up to anyone in the area that wants to come receive the 10 week training. If they make an A, and do a good job, then they’ll be guaranteed a job with us as a machinist,” Remines said.

They still need people to fill the slots in this class. People can apply for this program by stopping in at IPM, located at 1712 Coal Heritage Road in Bluefield, WV.
