PRINCETON, WV (WVNS) — Mercer County Animal Shelter is putting on a Howloween Fest to get people in the spooky spirit.

The fest kicks off October 19, 2019 at noon. Many vendors, live music, and food will be available throughout the fest. Stacy Harman, Director of the Shelter, said it is a chance for the shelter to showcase the animals in need of a new home.

“Well I’m trying to get all the animals of course, a home. The first twenty adoption fees will be waived, after that it will be half off,” Harman said.

The event ends at 6 p.m. with live music.
