RALEIGH COUNTY, W. Va. (WVNS) — If you’re in need of getting your GED, a program in Raleigh County is offering the test to adults for free.
The Raleigh County Adult Learning Center offers the test, which is now called the Task-Test. Teachers at the center work closely with aspiring students throughout the week to help them prepare for the test. However, their work does not stop once a student passes that test.
“Even after the task test. We’re still here to assist them whether they want to get a job, go to college or vocational school,” Teacher at Raleigh County Adult Learning Center, Tammy Toney, said.
The adult learning center works with resources throughout the county to help their students prepare for their future.
