A group of men gathered Saturday December 29 at East Park Martial Arts Club to learn self defense. At the class they learned many tactics to defend themselves during a knife attack.

Chet Hornton is the Sensay at East Park Martial Arts Club. He said these skills are important in the world we live in.

“There’s more deaths through hand guns because they are more lethal. But as far as assaults far more people get assaulted with the blade and sticks and blunt instruments and the hands things like that,” Hornton said.

If you are interested in a class they hold them every Tuesday and Thursday nights.
