Belk at the Crossroads Mall is kicking off their Back-to-School Charity Sale.

This charity sale benefits local non-profits and schools. Customers will support, shop and save on rarely discounted brands for one-day-only. This private ticketed event will take place on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2018 from 6 to 10 a.m. The first 100 customers in each store will receive a Belk gift card ranging from $5 to $100. Belk Store Manager, Lori Life, said this is has become a tradition.

“Belk has been doing this event since 2012, and since 2012, Belk has provided 50 million dollars to over six thousand charities for our southern community. It’s a way for us to give back to the communities that our Belk stores are located in,” Life said.

To access the private shopping event, customers must purchase a $5 ticket and that ticket will be deducted from their total purchase when they return to shop on August 25. Tickets can be obtained from partnering charities and schools. 100 percent of proceeds will stay with that organization. Tickets can also be purchased directly from Belk and all in-store ticket sale donations will be divided among that store’s partner charities.
