Governor Jim Justice shows appreciation to road construction workers

On Thursday April 26, 2018 Governor Jim Justice put on his hard hat and hit the highway to show his appreciation for out of state road construction crews.

Governor Justice served sausage biscuits to construction workers on I-64 just past the Grandview exit. 

Justice showed his gratitude for the workers by taking pictures with them and addressing them personally.

“You are appreciated. I’m telling you, be safe and watch out. You got to be safe in everything that you do, but at the same time, you’re appreciated, and I think you’re super stars. And I mean it,” Justice said.

Governor Justice also warned that drivers will be seeing more orange and white cones out on the roads over the next few months. He asked everyone to be careful when driving through construction zones.
