LATEST: 2 arrested after toddler found in hotel room with drugs, guns and needles

GHENT, WV (WVNS) — 3:30 p.m. May 31, 2019 UPDATE:  A second person was arrested in connection with a search of a hotel room in Ghent, WV.  Zachary Scott Foley, 29, is charged with Child Neglect, Possession of Methamphetamine and Heroin with Intent to Deliver and Being a Person Prohibited from Possessing a Firearm.

Investigators said Foley rented a room at Skyline Resort early Thursday morning. According to court documents he was staying in the room with Holly Williams and her two-year-old child.  Troopers said a search turned up drugs, needles, guns and cash.

Foley has two prior felony convictions.  Those include a burglary in 2015 and making methamphetamine in 2016.

Williams is being held in the Southern Regional Jail on a $75,000 bond. There was no information on Foley’s bond.  The child is now in the care of a temporary guardian.


ORIGINAL STORY: A woman is behind bars after troopers found drug paraphernalia, guns, drugs, and uncapped needles near her 2-year old son. 

According to court documents, state troopers served a Domestic Violence Petition on Holly Williams in reference to the well-being of her son at Skyline Resort on Thursday, May 30, 2019.

After troopers got a search warrant they found three handguns, three plastic bags with meth, heroin, several used needles, and nearly $3,500 in cash were found in a room at Skyline.

Given the amount of drugs, guns and needles found in the room with the 2-year-old, Williams is charged with child neglect creating risk of injury and possession with intent ot deliver.
