Little General stores started their annual fundraiser for the Children’s Home Society.

Customers can buy pink paper flowers for Mother’s Day to support the society. According to Program Manager, William Perkins, those who purchase a flower can write the name of a woman who has had a lasting influence on their lives.

“I get to see everyday, a lot of people unfortunately they don’t get to see all the kids that need help,” Perkins said. “All the kids that need lasting families. So it means a lot to me to be a part of this and to see those kids get the help and the homes they need.”

The fundraiser lasts until Mother’s Day, and all proceeds will go toward helping the Children’s Home Society.
