A part of North Kanawha Street is closed following a car accident in Beckley.
According to Raleigh County Dispatchers, a car hit a power pole in the 600 block of N. Kanahwa St. around 9:17 p.m. Monday, May 6. The pole broke in half.
Dispatchers told 59News the road will remain closed until AEP can fix the pole.
Beckley Police and Fire Department, and JanCare responded to the scene.
