Raleigh County grand jury indicts suspects in several murder investigation

The January session of the Raleigh County grand jury has returned dozens of indictments.  This session included several suspects from serious crimes which happened in 2018 including several murder investigations.

Among those indicted for murder is Demorrea Curry.  He is accused shooting Corey Henry on April 10, 2018.  That happened on West Neville Street. Curry was on the run for several months.  He was eventually arrested in Ohio.  He is facing charges of First Degree Murder and Use of a Firearm.

The four men accused of killing Amber Dawn Meadows at the Travelodge in Beckley in July 2018 were also indicted.  Jonthan Bird, Antonio Williams, Tyrique Pearl and Davide Hudson are each charged with First Degree Murder, three counts of kidnapping, Use of a Firearm and felony Conspiracy.

Marshall Ratliff and Angus Moodie were also indicted for murder.  They are accused of killing Joshua Webb during a shooting on Main Street in Beckley.  That happened in July 2018.

Arraignments for these men and all of the others indicted by the grand jury will be held the first week of February.
