Woman arrested for racking up more than $500.00 on stolen credit card

BECKLEY, W. Va. (WVNS)– A woman has been arrested after officers said she stole a credit card and racked up over $500.00.

On May 1, 2018 officers received a phone call from a woman claiming her credit card had been stolen and used at five different businesses in Beckley.

According to court documents, officers connected the stolen card to April Baxter after surveillance video showed her making purchases at the businesses. 

Court records show Baxter charged $581.92. She remains in jail on $20,000 surety bond.
