BECKLEY, WV (WVNS)– The Beckley Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce is preparing for the 8th annual Beckley Rocket Run. The 5K and 10K run will take place on the McManus Trail in Beckley on Saturday Sept. 28.
Sales Director Kip Buchanan said while they have been preparing for this event they are still looking for volunteers to help facilitate the race.
“Just a few controlled spots where the traffic comes across on the Rails to Trails program,” Buchanan said. “And then we need help a volunteer at the finish line, we need help at the finish line.”
The Beckley Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce is looking for 20-23 volunteers for the race on Saturday. For more information you can visit the Beckley Raleigh County Chambers of Commerce.
