CRAB ORCHARD, W.Va. (WVNS) – One lane of I-77 Northbound was closed due to a vehicle fire Friday evening.

Dispatchers tell 59 News the call came in around 7:45 p.m. near mile marker 42, which is close to the Crab Orchard/Mabscott exit.

Mabscott and Beaver Volunteer Fire Departments responded to the scene, along with Best Ambulance.

Dispatchers said crews were still on scene as of 8:30 p.m., but the fire was under control.

There is no word on any injuries.
