CHARLESTON, WV (WOWK) – UPDATE (2/16/18 11:00 AM):
An 18-year-old George Washington High School student has been arraigned on one felony count of Threats of Terrorist Acts.
Police say that Corey Michael Duff posted a video on Snapchat of him holding a semi-automatic pistol with an extended clip with a caption that said “plenty for errbody”.
Charleston Police say that because he was a student at GWHS, the video, “started a mass panic with school staff, parents, and student.”
Kanawha County’s assistant prosecuting attorney says law enforcement will take all social media threats seriously.
Duff’s bond was set at $50,000 in cash.

A teenager has been arrested for last night’s threat to George Washington High School hand is in police custody.
According to Charleston Police, Corey Michael Duff, 18-years-old, a student at George Washington High School, has been charged with one felony count of Threats of Terrorist Acts.
Charleston Police say the charge stems from a video Duff posted on SnapChat.
Police say this incident is unrelated to the previous incident from yesterday and Duff was under suspension for an unrelated matter.
According to Kanawha County Schools, all schools in the area are running on normal schedule.
KCS says that every precaution has been taken and will continue to be taken, including continuous police presence, as the school continues normal operation.
Charleston Police are investigating another apparent threat at George Washington High School.

This is a message from Kanawha County Schools. Late this evening Kanawha County Schools officials and Charleston Police were notified of a new threat to George Washington High School.
Charleston Police are investigating and extra precautions will be
taken to prevent the threat from occurring including extra law
enforcement presence at the school. At this time, the school will be on a normal schedule tomorrow. If you have any questions, please call the school in the morning. Thank you
