BECKLEY, WV (WVNS) — A civil case was filed in federal court on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 against a pharmacist in southern West Virginia. Three properties owned by Natalie Cochran were seized in June 2019 as a result of alleged mail, wire or bank fraud.

Cochran is accused of defrauding investors in her companies Tactical Solution Group and Technology Management Solutions. A total of $2,813,533.14 was solicited from individuals. Cochran is accused of using the money to support a lavish lifestyle including the purchase of two properties in Beckley and one in the Daniels area.

Cochran told her investors their money would be used for Department of Defense and government contracts. According to court documents, an investigation by the Defense Criminal Investigative Services showed the companies received no contracts from the federal government. There were two contracts awarded by West Virginia in December 2018 but those were canceled a month later.
