BECKLEY, WV (WVNS) — Fire and EMS crews are responding to a smoke call at the Humane Society of Raleigh County.
Dispatchers received the call at 10:26 a.m. Tuesday, October 1, 2019 from an employee, who reported heavy smoke in the hallways at the facility.
An evacuation was advised by dispatchers, who told us Beckley Fire and Jan Care Ambulance responded. There were no reports of medical attention.
The cause of the smoke is unknown at this time.
