FAYETTEVILLE, WV (WVNS) — Fayette County Public Library started a new program on August 1st called the Homebound Library Service Program.

The program benefits those who are unable to leave their houses but want to take advantage of things their local library has to offer. The service includes dropping off books right to people’s front doors and picking them back up when they are due.

Extension Librarian, Kim Massey, said that she will be one of the people who will be delivering the books to people.

“We want everybody to have the option of having a library, getting to the library,” Massey said.

The sign up sheet asks how many books you’d like a month, what type of books, titles and authors that interest you, and more. You can also check out movies, D-V-Ds, and Audio Books.

For more information on the program you can visit the Fayette County Public Library page.

To sign up for the program, contact Kim Massey at 304-465-5664 or email her at kim.massey@mail. mln.lib.wv.us
