Graduation Fair preps students at Concord University

ATHENS, W.Va. (WVNS) – It may only be February, but one local university is already getting seniors ready for graduation.

Monday, Feb. 5, Concord University held a Graduation Fair. This was a one stop shop for students, where they can meet all their graduation needs.

Students were also able to apply for graduation and order their cap and gown. According to the registrar, Carolyn Cox, Concord is expecting to have more than 200 students graduate in the Spring.

“Well we certainly hope we have more come in than we have leaving, so yeah admissions is busy working on recruiting for the fall semester,” Cox said.

This semester’s graduation for students at Concord is May 5 in the gymnasium.
