Hinton city building cited by fire marshal

HINTON, WV (WVNS) — Potentially hazardous conditions were cited at the Hinton Technology Center.

During a routine inspection on Tuesday, October 29, an Assistant State Fire Marshal discovered maintenance issues with the fire alarm and sprinkler system.

A spokesperson with the WV State Fire Marshals Office told 59 News the city is already working to rectify the issue. The building was placed under a ‘fire watch.’
