BLUEFIELD, WV (WVNS) — Since 1959, Industrial Plating and Machine has been serving both Virginia and West Virginia. IPM is a precision machine shop that is a new manufacturer and repair company.

CEO Shannon Remines said they are looking to hire 100 new positions as soon as possible.

“We are looking to hire CNC Machinist, conventional machinist, welders and mechanics,” Remines said. “We are specifically in the process of looking for CNC Programmers, that is going to be a position we’re looking to hire quickly.”

Remines said while they focus on getting the job done, they do have a family environment at the shop.

“We’re a family,” Remines said. “We get to know each and every employee, and that is important to us because you spend a lot of time at work and so that ends up being your extended family. Having that extended family is important to us.”

He also said they are truly blessed with great employees and look forward to adding to their family.

IPM is hosting a job fair on Wednesday, July 24, from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. at 1712 Coal Heritage Road in Bluefield.
