TAZEWELL, VA (WVNS)–A local man will spend decades behind bars for dozens of sexual crimes against children.

43-year-old Daniel Mathena will spend 40 years in prison according to the Tazewell County Circuit Court.

Mathena faced 33 charges including rape, incest, and aggravated sexual battery among others.
