The Tazewell County Sheriff’s Department received their newest patrol car on Dec. 14, 2017.
The patrol car is a 2017 Dodge Charger which is also their new Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) vehicle. Attorney Michael Dennis and Clinch Valley Printing donated the vehicle and the wrap. They are hoping this will bring more attention to the DARE program and give students something new to interact with.
“One thing we wanted to get out with what we had with the other car is the DARE programs here in Tazewell County, we’re trying to grow it, we’re trying to get out in the public to let people know we’re still here,” Corporal with Tazewell County Sheriff’s Department, Glen Keen, said.
They want to enforce to students in the county that drugs can ruin your life.
