FAIRLEA, WV (WVNS) — The state fair grounds in Fairlea came to life on Sept. 26, 2019, with the Valley Business showcase.

Formally known as Mega Business, the Valley Business Showcase holds the same concept: introducing people to their local businesses. The event featured 47 local businesses from food to local banks, and even a build your own stuffed animal local store.

Executive Director of the Greater Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce, Ashley Vickers, said local businesses make up a lot of the Greenbrier County community.

“A lot of people don’t realize what’s available in the Greenbrier Valley and that’s why we do this event,” Vickers said.

Vickers said events like these are meant to give these local business exposure. She even called it a ‘one-stop-shop’ for people who want to know more about the goods and services offered in their community.
