BECKLEY, WV (WVNS)– Beckley native Morgan Spurlock was in town Thursday, Sept. 26, for a showing of his new movie Super Size Me 2: Holy Chicken. In the sequel, instead of eating at fast food restaurants, Spurlock decides to open his own.
Spurlock said in Super Size Me 2: Holy Chicken you get a behind the scenes look at where your food comes from.
“The idea of Super Size Me 2 came out of all these fast food restaurants suddenly saying that they are healthier, they are better for you, they have all these great options,” Spurlock said. “So I was like is it really better for us, is that the truth, so I thought the better way for me to explore this rather than just eating it was to open my own restaurant.”
