Princeton Towers evacuated after building floods


PRINCETON, WV (WVNS) — Residents at a local retirement home are evacuated after the building flooded.

According to dispatchers, the call came in just before 11p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, 2019. They said the first five floors of Princeton Towers flooded after the fire alarm was pulled.

Residents were evacuated and taken to the new city hall in Princeton. The Red Cross is currently working to relocate displaced residents.
