For those who need help doing their taxes, a local library is bringing in experts. AARP volunteers will offer free tax service to locals at the Raleigh County Public Library.

Library Director, Amy Stover, stressed that all people have to do is bring in their tax forms and they will help you prepare your taxes.

“Some people may not be comfortable filling out their own taxes and a lot of people are not comfortable doing their taxes online,” Stover said. “There’s a big push for that and we are welcoming anyone to our computer lab here that want to file their own taxes, but if you feel like you need some help, please call and make an appointment.”

Services will begin the first Tuesday in February and runs through the first Tuesday in April. People can call the library at 304 255-0511 to set up an appointment.
