Vandals strike at park in Rupert, WV

RUPERT, WV (WVNS) — A photo on Facebook spoke a 1,000 words showing damage done at a public park. The picture shows how vandals damaged the restroom at Rupert Village Park.

According to a release from the Town of Rupert & Rupert Water Department, the Village Park will now only be open during business hours at the water plant. In a release, the town leaders stated the only other use of the park will be when the shelter is rented.

Town leaders apologized for the inconvenience. There was no word on when the damage took place or if there are any suspects.
