Belmont County woman wanted for impersonating police officer

West Virginia News

Belmont County Sheriff Dave Lucas says his deputies need your help finding this woman.

Sheriff Lucas says Marlese Lopez is wanted for impersonating a police officer.

Sheriff Lucas says Lopez has allegedly been standing outside of local pain clinics telling patients that she is a plain clothes officer investigating the clinic and she needs to inspect their pills.

She allegedly asks the patient if they have Oxycontin. Detectives believe that Lopez is aware that a warrant has been issued for her arrest and is on the run.

If you see her, you are urged to call the Belmont County Sheriff’s Office.
