Active Southern West Virginia is excited to announce their new partnership with Fayette County Parks. This partnership will allow them to offer free physical activities. Those with Active Southern West Virginia have already planned events. This Wednesday, January 31, at 10 a.m., anyone can come out and meet their community captains for a walk at the Fayetteville Park. Everyone involved said this is a great way to get active and live a healthier lifestyle.
“To get people out to that park to realize in the Beckwith area, Fayetteville going down Route 60, that they have a park in their backyard and it’s a great opportunity to develop a habit of active living and utilizing that park on a regular basis,” Executive Director of Active SWV, Melanie Seiler, said.
Those with Active Southern West Virginia told us walking is a great start for beginners in their journey to wellness.
