Human remains were found Tuesday, September 18, in Fayette County.
According to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department, the remains were found in the Bachman Road area.
Investigators were reportedly working Tuesday night into Wednesday at the scene.
The Fayette County High Vertical Rescue Team assisted deputies with recovery efforts due to the terrain.
The remains were sent to the Chief Medical Examiner for examination.
