Manufacturing company brings jobs to the area

Fayette County

Lifetite Metal Products recently moved to the Mount Hope area in February, but on Friday, employees and the community celebrated their grand opening.

“We’ve already had several customers here for many years and we were shipping so many things down here we decided to start looking for a facility and making Southern West Virginia our home as well,” Plant Manager, Brian Mink, said.

The company is a premium metal roofing and metal sliding manufacturer. They have two other locations in the state, but this is their first facility in Southern West Virginia.

“We’re in manufacturing something that West Virginia needs more of. We’ve lost so much of that over the last couple of decades and we’re just doing our part to bring it back,” Mink said.

Plant Manager, Brian Mink, tells 59 News they’ve already hired 9 people from the area, and they’re looking forward to even more growth.

“The different locations have anywhere from ten to twenty folks, at most locations and then we hope to add a different division here in a couple of years as well,” Mink said.

Employees that live in the Mount Hope area said this is great for their community.

“The more jobs we have, the more people are willing to spend which turns out to make more jobs,” Shop Manager, Carlos Adkins, said.
