Traffic stop in Hico leads to heroin arrest

An early morning traffic stop on U.S. Route 19 in Fayette County lands one man in jail. Jacob Druga, 24, of Oakdale, PA is charged with two counts of Possession with Intent to Deliver Narcotics. 

At around 1 a.m. deputies pulled Mr. Druga over in the Hico area.  They said he was traveling 20 miles an hour over the speed limit.  During the stop, he told the deputy he had a small amount of marijuana. 

K-9 Deputy “Arras” then scanned the car and turned up more marijuana, along with 78 doses of what is believed to be heroin.  Deputies also found cash and four CBD cartridges. 

Mr. Druga is being held in the Southern Regional Jail. His bond is set at $30,000.
