Traffic stop leads to narcotics arrest in Fayette County

FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (WVNS) — A traffic stop leads to the arrest of a Fayette County woman on Tuesday, June 5. 

Deputies said Alisha Loeffler, 26, was caught with narcotics.

A Fayette County Sheriff’s Deputy was reporteldy patrolling Gatewood Road after receiving complaints of criminal activity in the area.  A traffic stop was then made near Cunard Road. 

Investigators said the driver of the vehicle had a suspended driver’s license.  Loeffler was a passenger in the car, and deputies apparently found more than 20 assorted pills, one of which tested positive for methamphetamines. They said Loeffler also had 20 clear baggies.  After being searched, investigators said she had $450 dollars hidden in her bra.  

Loeffler was arrested and charged with the felony offense of Possession with the Intent to Deliver Narcotics.  She is being held at the Southern Regional Jail.
