(WVNS) — 59News teamed up with the United Way of Southern West Virginia and the United Way of the Greenbrier Valley to support local food banks. This is part of the Nexstar Founder’s Day of Caring.
Crews are set up at locations in Fairlea, Princeton and Beaver. Local firefighters and law enforcement are out with 59News anchors and reporters to collect money. This will go to the United Way and be earmarked to help provide food to those in need around the area.
