Get your sweet tooth ready, because tickets are now on sale for Lewisburg’s ever-popular Chocolate Festival. The sweet celebration is expected to sell all 35,000 of them.
Not only are the usual vendors there for this year’s rendition, but the Chocolate Festival is also bringing back its chocolate mousse eating contest. Festival Chair Erin Hurst said it is all thanks to Lewisburg’s newest restaurant, The Humble Tomato.
“Now that there’s a restaurant there, we can both highlight them and they can help us with creating the mousse,” Hurst said. “We’re really excited to bring back an activity that involves lots of folks.”
Tickets can be purchased on the festival’s website here or in-person at the Greenbrier Valley Visitor’s Center. The price is $5 for a packet of five tickets.
