A changing of the guard happened in one Greenbrier County community on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2019.  Law enforcement officers in Lewisburg are under new management.

On Tuesday night, Chris Teubert was sworn in as the new Chief of Police for the city.  Teubert takes over from long standing Chief Tim Stover, who retired at the end of January after more than two decades of service.

The swearing in ceremony was held at city hall during the city council meeting.  Mayor John Manchester swore in the new chief who officially took charge of the department on Wednesday morning.
