Crews respond to fire in Rainelle

Firefighters from three departments were called to assist in putting out a blaze in Rainelle.  The fire was reported just after noon on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2018.  

It happened at a home on 6th and Surbaugh Streets.  The owner was not home at the time of the fire.  Officials said there were no injuries but there may have a been a pet inside.  

Crews from Rupert, Quinwood and Rainelle Fire Departments responded to the fire.  The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
