Former White Sulphur Springs Fire Chief Passes Away

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. (WVNS) – A Greenbrier County community is in mourning after their former fire chief passed away.

The White Sulphur Springs Volunteer Fire Department announced that former fire chief Billy “Cookie” Kelly passed away Wednesday night.

He was with the fire department for 33 years. He joined when he was 18-years-old and and served a Lieutenant, Captain, and eventually Chief.

 Funeral arrangements have not been announced.
