LEWISBURG, W. Va. (WVNS) — Greenbrier County Commission could soon see a change to its commissioners.
Tammy Shifflett-Tincher defeated current County Commission President Woody Hanna in the Primary Election.
Living in Rainelle for a decade, she said her main goal behind running for County Commission is to have representation in the western end of the county.
“Not having someone in our area that’s familiar with the people and familiar with our area has really made a difference,” Shifflett-Tincher said.
Running as a Democrat, there is no one currently running against Shifflett-Tincher on the Republican ballot.
