Greenbrier County school levy passes

LEWISBURG, W. Va. (WVNS) —  There is good news for students and school staff in Greenbrier County following the 2018 Primary Election.

The school excess levy passed. The levy passed is a continuation of the current levy that will end in June of 2019.

The levy will fund different programs for all 13 schools throughout the county. That includes technology, art and music programs, school safety and a variety of other things.

Superintendent Jeff Bryant said he is thrilled with the news and thanked everyone who has been supporting the students and staff in Greenbrier County.
