The brewery business is booming across the state,  so much so that one local brewery has grown to keep up with the never ending demand.

Greenbrier Valley Brewing Company celebrated their expansion in Friday, Sept. 28, with a tap room party. They added a new fermentation space and a canning machine. With the upgrades, the brewery is now able to produce a lot more product.

With such a growing interest from the public for craft beer, the expansion is growing the dreams of management to start thinking about selling their product beyond state lines.

“At this point we’re able to meet the needs of the state . With that vision, eventually being able to get out of the state to other markets,” said General Manager Sam Walker-Matthews.

Walker-Matthews added the expansion is also helping economically as the brewery was able to hire more employees.

The tap room is open every Friday and Saturday  from 2-9 p.m and Sunday from 2-6 p.m
