Heroin and Meth found in Lewisburg drug arrest

A call about drug activity at a Lewisburg hotel lands four people behind bars.  Officers with the Lewisburg Police Department were called to investigate on Sunday, Oct. 28, 2018.

When police arrived they used a K9 unit to determine there were narcotics in the room.  A search found heroin, methamphetamine, digital scales, syringes and an undisclosed amount of cash.

Carrie Palmer, 41, of White Sulphur Springs was charged with two counts of Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance.  Leslie Wright-Reyes, 37, of Covington, VA and Dana Scott, 42, of Ronceverte were each charged with Conspiracy.. Joshua Maddy, 27, of Asbury was also arrested.  He was charged with a parole violation.

All for suspects were taken to the Southern Regional Jail.   Wright-Reyes and Scott are being held on $5,000 bond each.  Palmer’s bond was set at $50,000.
