RAINELLE, WV (WVNS) — State Farm in Rainelle served free hot dogs, popcorn and sno-cones to guests at Run For The Wall on Thursday, May 24, 2018.

The company has been accepting donations for the free food at the event for the past four years.

This year, the company was able to give a $500 donation to Rainelle Elementary School.

State Farm Agent, Jon Riffe, said he wants to help the community in which he lives.

“We’re trying to support Rainelle. Rainelle is a small town; we had the flood a year and a half ago, going on two years. We really just want to help the kids,” Riffe said.

Rifee said the donation is intended to be used however the school sees fit.
