It is certainly beginning to feel a lot like Christmas and towns are gearing up for their annual parades to bring in the holiday season.
The town of Rainellehad Christmas parades in the past, but this year, coordinators are hoping for the best one yet.
Meadow Garden Nursing Garden is taking over the parade for 2018. Parade Coordinator, Stacy Cooper, said many have been working out the details months in advance, to help spread some holiday cheer.
“Meadow Garden just wanted to try to make the parade bigger and better and give the community something to come out and support,” Cooper said.
The parade is Saturday, December 1, beginning at 4:30 p.m.
After the parade, holiday festivities will continue with the first ever Christmas tree lighting and pictures with Santa Claus at town hall.
