Troopers conducting sobriety checkpoint in Greenbrier County

FAIRLEA, W. Va. (WVNS) — West Virginia State Police will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint on U.S. Route 219 in the Fairlea area of Greenbrier County on Friday, May 18. 

Troopers will be conducting the checkpoint from 8 PM Friday and 2 AM Saturday.

Officers said they hope the checkpoint is to deter drivers from driving drunk and to educate people on the dangers of driving a vehicle while under the influence.
