Emergency dispatchers said the portion of I-64 that was closed has reopened as of 8:25 p.m. on Monday.
Dispatchers said the accident was caused by slick roads. Only one car was involved, and no injuries were reported.
GREENBRIER COUNTY, W. Va. (WVNS) — An accident has shut down a portion of I-64 in Greenbrier County, according to emergency dispatchers.
The eastbound lanes are closed near mile marker 172, between the Lewisburg and White Sulphur Springs exits.
The accident happened just after 7 p.m. on Monday, January 8. Few details have been released at this hour. Dispatchers said there is no timetable on when the interstate will reopen.
