UPDATED STORY @ 10/11/2018 @ 9:05 a.m. : A man wanted in connection to a shooting in Greenbrier County has been arrested.
On Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2018 members of the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office and the Greenbrier Valley Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force, along with assistance of the Rainelle Police Department, located Jeffrey L. Blackburn.
Blackburn was wanted for shooting Steven Dunn on Oct. 8, 2018. He is charged with malicious wounding
Blackburn is being held in the Southern Regional Jail. His bond is set at $50,000.
ORIGINAL STORY: Deputies are searching for a man wanted in connection to a shooting in Greenbrier County.
Deputies are looking for 33-year-old Jeffery L. Blackburn of Rainelle, WV.
Deputies responded to the shooting at a home on Rock Street in Charmco around 10:38 p.m. on Monday, October 8, 2019.
Blackburn allegedly shot 41-year-old Steven Dunn, of Charmco, WV, who was taken to CAMC in Charleston for treatment.
Deputies said Blackburn ran from the scene and a warrant for malicious wounding has been issued for his arrest.
Lorne Atkins was arrested for conspiracy to commit a felony in connection to the shooting.
