A search warrant at a home in McDowell County leads to the arrest of two people on drug charges.
Deputies said they searched a home in the Squire area. Inside, they found meth packaged for sale and delivery. Deputies arrested the homeowner, Edward L. Wingo Jr. Wingo is charged with possession with intent to deliver and maintaining a dwelling to sell narcotics. His bond is set at $100,000.
Deputies also found Darlene Baldwin in the home at the time. She reportedly had meth on her and admitted to buying meth from Edward Wingo Jr. Baldwin is charged with unlawful possession of meth. Her bond is set at $1,000.
Both suspects are being held in the McDowell County Holding Unit. They are waiting to be taken to the Southwestern Regional Jail.
