BLUEFIELD, W. Va. (WVNS) — A Mercer County man is facing drug charges after police officers found drugs and cash during a traffic stop. 

Police said on March 18, 2018 3 a.m. they made a traffic stop on Old Bramwell Road. Inside the vehicle, officers found 2.3 grams of white powdery substance, believed to be cocaine, pills, marijuana and around $2,000. 

Police arrested Hunter Thompson. He is charged with drug paraphernalia; possession with intent to deliver and other charges.
