Community Connections in Princeton is participating in National Volunteer Week.
National Volunteer Week runs from April 7 to April 13. To encourage more people to get involved in their communities, Community Connections teamed up with different organizations in the area.
People can purchase water bottles from these organizations, as well as sign up to volunteer. Community Connections Program Director Kathrn Kandas said Community Connections wants to make sure people see how important it is to give back to the community.
“Volunteers are an integral part of the community. They bring their experience, their knowledge, their expertise, and donate their time to help organizations do things, sometimes things that they can’t pay for themselves. So they’re super important,” Kandas said.
